Personal data is processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 on Personal Data Protection (LOPDGDD).

This website has no contact forms, user accounts or newsletter. We process only:

• The data you choose to send us when you contact us by email, telephone or WhatsApp: name, contact details, details of your vessel and the content of your message.
• Technical data that the hosting provider records automatically to deliver the website securely, such as IP address, date and time of access and browser type.

• Answering your enquiries and preparing quotations — steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.
• Providing the services you engage and managing the client relationship — performance of a contract.
• Invoicing and accounting — compliance with legal obligations.
• Keeping the website secure and working — legitimate interest.

We do not use your data for automated decisions, profiling or advertising.

Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to answer them and, if you become a client, for the duration of the relationship and afterwards for the periods required by tax and commercial law.

We do not sell your data. It is shared only with:

• Service providers acting on our behalf, such as the website hosting provider (Netlify, Inc.) and our email provider.
• WhatsApp (Meta Platforms), if you choose to contact us through that channel; its own terms and privacy policy apply.
• Public authorities, where the law requires it.

Some of these providers are located outside the European Economic Area. In those cases transfers rely on the safeguards provided for in the GDPR.

You can request access to your data, its rectification or erasure, restriction of or objection to its processing, and its portability, by writing to ross@rpm-marineengineering.co.uk. We may ask you to confirm your identity.
